James and I have returned from another amazing trip to New Zealand’s north island. We are definitely feeling the jet leg this week, so I thought I’d put my feet up and recap our north island trip! We went the last week of February, and stayed through the first week of March, which meant it was nice and hot pretty much the whole time. This time of year, we had cooler mornings and evenings but full sunny days! It rained only on our first and last day – lucky us! After spending three days in Denver with family (go check out that post here!), we set off to the mountains for four days of exploring Colorado JUST THE TWO OF US! You guys, this was the first trip we had taken just the two of us since our honeymoon. THAT WAS OVER THREE YEARS AGO. So, needless to say, four days in the mountains were just what we needed. James and I bought a Go Pro Hero 5 Black for Christmas last year, and let me tell you, we love it. We were first introduced to the Go Pro when my sister and her boyfriend came to visit us in New Zealand. At the time, they had a small Go Pro 4 without a screen and it was in a waterproof case. They took it everywhere – skiing, swimming, biking, hiking – and they documented the trip so well! We loved the easy video settings, and the fish eye photos form the top of Treble Cone.
We have owned our Go Pro Hero 5 for about 5 months at the time of writing this, and like I said, we’re obsessed. BUT it didn’t come without a few headaches at first. If you’re thinking about buying a Go Pro, I’m here for you. I’m going to share the pros and cons of the Go Pro Hero 5 Black.
